Take a 100 x 100 ft. building with the usual 3” void: that’s a tiny footprint, but it adds up to 100 ft squared of open space for gas, smoke and flames to rise from floor to floor. FIRST PRE-FORMED SOLUTION FOR EDGE OF SLAB AND CURTAIN WALL FIRESTOPPING

CFS-EOS QuickSeal is a preformed solution that is easy to install, without the need for mineral wool and spray sealants. That means it can be installed in a wide range of temperature and weather conditions without affecting its performance and there is no equipment to haul around or mess to clean up.  CFS EOS QS does not rely on mineral wool compression, so it's fast and easy to inspect and as a preformed device may not be subject to the same destructive testing as may be required for other third-party inspections. The product can be used on joint size ranges from 1.5 inches to 5 inches, with an optional sealant if water tightness is required.

THE ULTIMATE FAST CURE SEALANT

CFS-SIL firestop silicone sealant is a fast-curing and highly elastic firestop sealant for curtain wall or edge-of-slab applications. This silicone-based spray is water-resistant, so – at least when it comes to firestop – your productivity is not weather-dependent. The movement capabilities of CFS-SIL meet leading industry standards, and its water-resistance helps to reduce moisture damage to the joint. After curing, the sealant can easily be painted.

THE TRADITIONAL SPRAY SEALANT

Our traditional, water-based sealant – CFS-SP WB – is a versatile spray for curtain wall or edge-of-slab applications where exposure to water and the elements is not anticipated during the lifecycle of the building. As with other Hilti spray sealants, CFS-SP WB has high-performance movement capabilities that meet leading industry test standards and can easily be painted.

FLOOR TO CEILING VISION GLASS

Hilti is the only manufacturer with a tested perimeter fire barrier system for full vision glass with Intertek listing HI/BPF 120-11.  Previous full vision glass designs were highly dependent on AHJ approval as there was no provision in the code to test these systems.  With the new system, architects and owners now have assurance that their full vision glass design is secured and backed by a tested system.

A NEW KIND OF BACK PAN SYSTEM

Used commonly on unitized and stick built curtain wall systems, the back pan or shadow box systems offers architects, fabricators, and façade installers numerous benefits. Hilti's most recent system Intertek HI/BPF 120-12 is the first and only back pan system that does not require a stiffener.  This translates into huge savings for the contractors.
